PLANT TECHNICIAN (JAMAICA ENERGY PARTNERS)

Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for the frontline operational and maintenance activities at the facility plant in accordance with the
plant maintenance and operations program and procedures.

Qualifications

General Functions

  • Collect data to assist in the analyses and improvement of plant operations.
  • Perform preventative, predictive, corrective and other maintenance as directed on all plant.
    equipment during shift.
  • Perform scheduled maintenances up to 6,000 hours except for 3,000 hours.
  • Monitor, inspect, operate and reset all circuit breakers as required that are associated with the operation of the plant.
  • Perform operations in compliance with environmental requirements.

Experience

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.

Minimum requirement: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution with at least three (3) years’ experience.
