Furthermore, at the CSR level, we wanted to understand the prostate health status of the men in our neighbouring communities. Therefore, to encourage frequent prostate checks and help dispel the fear around being tested, the CSR Committee hosted its first community Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening initiative.
We extended this benefit to 150 men from Western and Eastern Kingston and Old Harbour Bay by partnering with Biomedical Medical Lab. Men with abnormally high PSA levels were referred to a Urologist. JEP Group will continue to champion the significance of regular prostate testing in the above communities and monitor the health status of the men for years to come.
