Uniting for a Cause: RAYZ for Life 5K Returns in 2026
Jamaica Energy Partners (JEP) Group will host the 2026 staging of its flagship RAYZ for Life 5K on Saturday, July 18, 2026, bringing together individuals, families and corporate teams in support of cancer awareness and care.
Set along the Norbrook Loop, with the finish at the Shortwood Teachers’ College/Shortwood Football Field, the event continues to grow as a meaningful platform for community engagement and national impact.
Importantly, proceeds from this year’s event will be in aid of the Oncology Unit at the Bustamante Hospital for Children, supporting critical healthcare services and reinforcing the importance of accessible care across communities.
A Purpose-Driven Initiative with Real Impact
The RAYZ for Life 5K forms part of JEP’s broader “JEP Group Fights Against Cancer” initiative, reflecting a sustained commitment to health and wellness.
By directing proceeds to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, the 2026 staging strengthens the link between community participation and tangible impact, ensuring that every step taken contributes to improved care and support for patients.
“This event continues to be one of the most meaningful ways we engage with our communities,” said Wayne McKenzie. “It allows us to bring people together around an issue that affects so many Jamaican families, while supporting institutions that play a critical role in healthcare delivery.”

Registration categories include:
- Individual entry: J$3,000
- Teams of 10 or more: J$2,500 per person
- Children: J$1,500
Participants can choose to run, walk, ride or wheel, making it possible for a wide cross-section of the public to get involved.
