For Labour Day, the JEP Group dedicated its efforts to supporting Jamaica’s healthcare system through impactful projects at two key facilities: the National Chest Hospital and the Spanish Town Hospital.
Recognising its critical role in respiratory health, JEP volunteers focused on improving the patient and staff experience at the National Chest Hospital.
This execution witnessed the teamwork of over eighty (80) employees across the group of companies volunteering at one location for the first time.
JEP has been this institution’s partner for over fifteen (15) years and will continue to support them and other hospitals in achieving a healthier Jamaica.
We also initiated work on the Maternity Ward at the Spanish Town Hospital. The pre-natal dressing room sees approximately one hundred (100) patients monthly who require treatment for caesarean operations during labour.
The room, though still a work in progress, has been remarkably improved.
We want to thank everyone who came out for their dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work; we made a real difference in improving the hospital spaces. Our efforts will create a more welcoming and uplifting environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
