On Emancipation Day, Old Harbour Bay residents gathered for the much-anticipated Regatta Festival. This year, in addition to the event resuming after a 2-year pause due to COVID-19, Jamaica’s 60th year of independence made it extra special.
The community of Old Harbour Bay joined in the festivities through various activities, including boat races and cooking competitions. The Community Development Association also unveiled the newly constructed signage and presented JEP with a token of recognition for our commitment to community development for over twenty-five years.
The Company is grateful for the opportunity to positively impact the community and even more thankful that the CDA recognized our efforts on a day of national significance.
